Perspektif Feminis Dalam Isu Homoseksual

Feminist Perspectives in Homosexual Issues

Abstract

Indoctrination on homosexual acceptance as a non-violent act have transmitted in today's Islamic society. The people who receive this homosexuality give the reason that religion should be practiced in harmony with current reality despite being forced to deny the laws that have been fixed (thabit) with Islamic law in qatci. This indoctrination was committed by feminists who championed the rights of gender equality as they argued that some of the laws contained in the Qur’an had suppressed and discriminated against gender. This article aims to analyse feminist thinking on homosexual issues as well as criticism of their thinking according to the Qur'an and al-Sunnah. Methodology of this study was the analysis of the content of three feminist works as a method for collecting data and descriptive methods used to analyse obtained data. The findings show that feminists are expected to defend homosexuals with their arguments even though it involves the laws of the Qur'an that have been fixed in Syariah law. The implication of the study shows that the feminist fight is deliberately refined and given serious attention because the thinking of gender equality is not derived from Islam but it is derived from the tradition of Western society. Therefore, the mind that desires for openness in ijtihad by placing minds at the highest place in the Qur’an and al-Sunnah such as feminism should be banned from entering into the minds of the Muslim community.
