Abstract
Challenging Times, edited by J.S. Solomon and published by Pelanduk Publications (M) Sdn. Bhd. in 1982, is a comprehensive exploration of former Malaysian Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman Putera al-Haj’s ideas on five major issues related to Islam. The book, spanning 240 pages, is divided into five parts: Rulers, Contemporary Politics, Islam, Profiles, and Reminiscences. Abdul Ghafar Don, Ideris Endot, and Mohd Syukri Yeoh Abdullah contribute to this work, which delves deeply into these significant themes.
