Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication in Al-Hikmah are required to complete and submit the Author Agreement and Declaration Form as part of the publication process.

By signing the form, the corresponding author, on behalf of all co-authors, confirms that:

1. The manuscript is original and has not been published previously, in whole or in substantial part;
2. The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal or publisher;
3. All listed authors have made an appropriate contribution to the work, have reviewed the final manuscript, and have approved its submission and publication;
4. All sources have been appropriately acknowledged and the manuscript does not contain plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, or other forms of research or publication misconduct;
5. All necessary permissions have been obtained for copyrighted material reproduced in the manuscript;
6. Any actual or potential conflicts of interest have been fully disclosed;
7. All sources of research funding and relevant institutional support have been appropriately declared;
8. Where applicable, the research has received the necessary ethical approval and complied with relevant ethical requirements;
9. Any substantive use of generative artificial intelligence tools has been disclosed in accordance with the journal’s Generative AI Policy;
10. The authors agree to comply with the editorial, publication ethics, copyright, and licensing policies of Al-Hikmah; and
11. Upon formal acceptance and completion of the applicable copyright transfer agreement, copyright in the published article is vested in UKM Press, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and the published work is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License.

The completed and signed form must be submitted to the Editorial Office when requested.
