Abstract

The research aims to derive the hidayat al-Quran from the Almighty’s saying: Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him and be kind to. For your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And honour your parents. If one or both of them, reach old age in your care, never say to them even ‘ugh,’ nor yell at them. Rather, address them respectfully. And be humble with them out of mercy, and pray, “My Lord! Be merciful to them as they raised me when I was young.” [Al-Isra: 23-24], with an explanation of the meanings of the vocabulary of the verse and its interpretation, and ways to realize the hidayat of the two verses from it in the reality of society, with an indication of the meaning of the two noble verses, and collecting what is possible from the hidayat derived from them, and indicating the ways to achieve them to reform the reality of society. The scientific material to investigate the hidayat derived from them, and among the most important results he reached: the importance of knowing the greatness of the fixed position of parents in the Holy Qur’an, as it came after the determination of the oneness of God Almighty and His worship, and its inclusion of many hidayat whose understanding and belief leads to the reform of the individual and society, God Almighty launched the word (benevolence) ) to deal with the term in its generality and apply it to every possible and capable beneficence, and this is from the perfection of the meaning of the Qur’anic term. The researcher recommends singling out Quranic researches related to the importance of Islamic morals in facing social problems and their impact on the stability and building of society, as well as an objective study of the models mentioned in the Holy Quran in honoring parents, and singling them out for study and analysis, such as the story of Ismail, peace be upon him, with his father Ibrahim, peace be upon him.
