FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KESETIAAN PELANGGAN TERHADAP PEMBELIAN KETUPAT PALAS SEJUK BEKU

Dalam konteks kajian ini, ketupat palas dipilih bagi mewakili makanan warisan Melayu. Ketupat palas ialah sejenis makanan tradisional Malaysia yang diwarisi berzaman lamanya. Namanya berasal daripada daun pokok palas yang digunakan untuk membungkus ketupat dalam bentuk segitiga. Proses penyediaan yang rumit daripada penyediaan daun, menganyam dan pembuatannya memerlukan perhatian dan kemahiran yang khusus untuk menghasilkannya. Oleh itu, inovasi produk sangat membantu dalam mengekalkan warisan budaya sambil memenuhi keperluan dan citarasa pelanggan. Kajian ini memfokuskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesetiaan pelanggan terhadap makanan tradisional, iaitu ketupat palas yang berkonsepkan sejuk beku. Kajian ini membincangkan hubungan antara tiga pembolehubah tidak bersandar iaitu kualiti makanan, harga dan inovasi produk terhadap kesetiaan pelanggan. Kajian ini penting bagi mengukur permintaan terhadap makanan tradisional yang telah diinovasikan boleh diterima atau tidak oleh masyarakat. Pensampelan bertujuan dijalankan kepada 110 individu terpilih berdasarkan kriteria seperti telah membeli dan merasai produk makanan sejuk beku ketupat palas dalam tempoh 6 bulan lalu. Data diproses dan dianalisis menggunakan Perisian SPSS Versi 29. Dapatan data menunjukkan tiga faktor tersebut iaitu kualiti makanan, harga dan inovasi produk mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan positif terhadap kesetiaan pelanggan. Oleh itu, bagi mengekalkan warisan makanan tradisional, pengusaha makanan sejuk beku perlu memastikan produk mereka berkualiti setanding dengan versi autentik, mempunyai harga yang kompetitif, dan sentiasa berinovasi bagi memastikan produk mereka bukan sahaja kekal relevan dan menarik, malahan juga memenuhi jangkaan pelanggan dalam jangka masa yang panjang.

Abstract
In the context of this study, ketupat palas were chosen to represent the food of Malay heritage. Ketupat palas is a type of traditional Malaysian food passed down over the centuries and its name comes from the leaves of the palas tree that are used to wrap the ketupat in the shape of a triangle. The complicated preparation process, from leaf preparation to weaving and making preparation, requires special attention and skills to produce it. Therefore, product innovation is constructive in preserving the cultural heritage while meeting the needs and tastes of the customers. This study focuses on the factors influencing customer loyalty to the traditional Ketupat Palas, a frozen concept. This study investigates the relationship in customer base between three independent variables: food quality, price, and product innovation. This study is important to ensure that the demand for traditional foods that have been innovated can be accepted or not by the community. Purposive sampling was conducted on 110 selected individuals based on certain criteria such as respondents having bought and tasted ketupat palas frozen food products in the past 6 months. Data analysis was processed and analyzed using SPSS software Version 29. Data findings show that food quality, price, and product innovation have a significant positive relationship with customer retention. Therefore, to maintain the heritage of traditional food, frozen food operators need to ensure that their products are of comparable quality to the authentic version, have competitive prices, and constantly innovate to ensure that their products not only remain relevant and attractive but also meet customer expectations in the long term.
