UNSUR KONFLIK DALAM NOVEL REMAJA TERPILIH (Element of Conflicts in the Selective Teenagers Novel)

Abstract

Abstrak: Kertas kerja ini membicarakan tentang konflik remaja yang terdapat dalam novel-novel remaja terpilih. Novel-novel tersebut pernah dirombak isi kandungannya kerana dikatakan tidak sesuai untuk golongan pelajar membacanya. Selain itu, novel-novel remaja ini telah mencetuskan pelbagai pendapat dan kritikan daripada golongan penggiat sastera, NGO, ahli akademik, dan ramai lagi. Persoalannya adakah novel-novel tersebut tidak memaparkan teladan yang baik kepada khalayak pembacanya sedangkan novel-novel ini telah memenangi pelbagai hadiah dalam pertandingan yang disertai. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mengklasifikasikan dan menganalisis unsur konflik yang terdapat dalam novel yang dikaji. Dalam konteks kehidupan, manusia tidak pernah terlepas daripada menghadapi masalah hidup. Begitu juga permasalahan dalam kalangan remaja, yang seringkali dikaitkan dengan sifat remaja yang beremosi sehingga mencetuskan konflik. Hal ini kerana jiwa golongan ini sangat mudah tersentuh dan beremosi sekiranya tersalah didik. Hasil kajian mendapati teks ini menyentuh tentang aspek konflik seperti konflik dalam keluarga, konflik dalam diri dan konflik rakan sebaya yang terdapat dalam novel remaja pilihan. Setelah diteliti, konflik yang berlaku kepada watak mampu ditangani oleh remaja yang berkonflik. Kesemua watak berjaya dalam kehidupan setelah menghadapi pelbagai konflik. Sehubungan itu, kajian ini melihat aspek konflik daripada perspektif teori Humanistik Abraham Maslow.

Abstract: The aim of this article is about the adolescent of conflict appearing in teen novels selected. The novels had reformed its contents because it is said to be unsuitable for the students to read. In addition, this teen novels has spawned a variety of opinions and criticism of literary activist groups, NGOs, academics, and many others. The question is whether these novels do not show a good example to the public and readers of these novels have won many prizes in competitions participated. The objective of this study was to classify and analyze the conflicts inherent in the novel under review. In the context of life, people never quit rather than face the problems of life. Similarly, problems among teenagers, who are often linked to the emotional nature of adolescence triggering the conflict. This is because the soul is very touchy and emotional if wrong teachings. The results showed that this text about on aspects such as the conflict in the family conflict, the conflict of interest and conflict peer stored in the selection of young adult novels. Capable of handling the conflict by adolescents in conflict. All the characters succeed in life after facing various of conflicts. Therefore, the study looked at the conflict from the perspective of humanistic theories of Abraham Maslow.
