TEKNIK LAKARAN BERSAMA PETA ALIR I-THINK MENINGKATKAN KEMAHIRAN MENJANA IDEA MURID ETNIK LUN BAWANG DALAM KARANGAN AUTOBIOGRAFI (Scetch Technique with i-Think Flow Map to Improve Generating Ideas Skill among Lun Bawang Students Ethnic in Autobiography Writing)

Abstract


Abstrak: Kajian berbentuk kualitatif ini merupakan kajian tindakan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran menjana idea murid etnik Lun Bawang di Lawas, Sarawak dalam karangan autobiografi dengan menggunakan teknik lakaran bersama peta alir i-Think. Responden kajian terdiri daripada empat orang murid Tahun 4 yang diwakili oleh dua orang murid lelaki dan dua orang murid perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui analisis dokumen sebelum dan selepas intervensi dijalankan, pemerhatian semasa proses intervensi dijalankan dan disokong oleh data temu bual. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif untuk menjawab persoalan kajian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan teknik lakaran bersama peta alir  i-Think mampu meningkatkan kemahiran menjana idea murid etnik Lun Bawang dalam karangan autobiografi.  Murid bermotivasi mempelajari karangan, menjana imaginasi dan kreativiti murid, memperbaiki amalan pengajaran guru, meningkatkan prestasi mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu serta membudayakan kemahiran berfikir aras tinggi (KBAT) di sekolah.

Abstract: This qualitative study is an action research aims to improve the skill of Lun Bawang students  ethnic in Lawas, Sarawak to generate ideas in autobiography for their writing skill by using sketch technique with I-Think flow map. The respondents of the study consisted of four Year 4 students which are represented by two boys and two girls in Lawas, Sarawak. The data were collected by document analysis before and after the intervention process was done and using observation during the intervention process with supported by data interview. The data were analyzed qualitatively to answer the research questions. The finding shows that sketch technique with the i-Think flow map is able to improve the skill of generating ideas of Lun Bawang students ethnic in autobiography writing. Motivated students to learn essay, to generate imagination and creativity of students, improve teaching practices, improve the performance of Malay Language  and cultivated higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in school.
