PERBEZAAN TAHAP PENGETAHUAN, PENGGUNAAN, DAN PENERIMAAN GURU BAHASA MELAYU BERDASARKAN FAKTOR UMUR DAN PENGALAMAN MENGAJAR KETIKA MENGAPLIKASIKAN PERSEKITARAN PEMBELAJARAN MAYA (Different Level of Knowledge, Use and Acceptance of Malay Language Teacher Based on the Age Factors and Teaching Experience to Teach the Virtual Learning Environment)

Abstract


Abstrak: Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti perbezaan tahap pengetahuan, penggunaan dan penerimaan guru Bahasa Melayu sekolah menengah kebangsaan (SMK) di daerah Kuala Terengganu. Ketiga-tiga faktor ini diukur berdasarkan faktor umur dan pengalaman mengajar ketika mengaplikasikan persekitaran pembelajaran maya dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP). Kajian tinjauan menggunakan soal selidik telah dijalankan terhadap 147 orang guru Bahasa Melayu di 16 buah SMK  di daerah Kuala Terengganu. Analisis statistik inferensi, iaitu ANOVA dan korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antara konstruk yang dikaji. Hasil dapatan ANOVA menunjukkan bahawa guru yang berumur antara 25 hingga 35 tahun mempunyai tahap pengetahuan, penggunaan dan penerimaan yang tinggi dalam mengaplikasikan persekitaran pembelajaran maya dalam PdP. Sebaliknya guru Bahasa Melayu yang berumur dan mempunyai pengalaman mengajar mengajar kurang mengaplikasikan perserkitaran pembelajaran maya di dalam kelas Bahasa Melayu. Mereka juga kurang pengetahuan tentang persekitaran pembelajaran maya dan lebih suka mengajar secara konvensional. Kesimpulannya, masih terdapat perbezaan umur dan pengalaman mengajar dalam mengaplikasikan persekitaran pembelajaran maya dalam kalangan guru Bahasa Melayu. Jurang pengetahuan, penggunaan dan penerimaan pelbagai aplikasi TMK ini perlu diatasi agar pelaksanaannya di dalam kelas dilaksanakan oleh semua guru tanpa dibatasi faktor umur dan pengalaman mengajar.

Abstract: This study aims to identify the different levels of knowledge, use and acceptance of Malay Language teacher national secondary school in the Kuala Terengganu district. These three factors are measured based on age factors and teaching experience when applying virtual learning environment in teaching and learning (T&L). The study uses a questionnaire survey was conducted on 147 Malay teachers in 16 national secondary school in the district. Inferential statistical analysis, i.e. ANOVA and Pearson correlation were used to see the relationship between the constructs studied. The results of ANOVA show that teachers aged between 25 to 35 years have a high level of knowledge, use and acceptance in applying virtual learning environment in T&L. Instead of Malay Language teachers who are, and have teaching experience to teach less to apply virtual learning environment in the classroom lessons. They also lack knowledge of virtual learning environment virtual learning environment and prefer conventional teaching. In conclusion, there are still differences in age and teaching experience in the application of virtual learning environment among Malay Language teacher. The gap in knowledge, use and acceptance of these various ICT applications needs to be overcome so that their implementation in the classroom is implemented by all teachers without being limited by age and teaching experience.
