Amalan Kepimpinan Autentik Pengetua dan Hubungannya dengan Pemindahan Latihan

Abstract


Perkembangan dunia masa kini dengan perubahan yang begitu pantas memerlukan kewibawaan pemimpin untuk mendorong guru menghadapi cabaran dan persaingan global. Peranan pengetua berkebolehan tinggi dipercayai dapat mendorong guru menyesuaikan diri dengan persekitaran dan membina perhubungan secara telus dalam apa jua keadaan untuk terus menggunakan pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang diperoleh selepas menghadiri latihan untuk dipindahkan ke dalam kerja. Dapatan kajian terdahulu berkenaan amalan kepimpinan autentik melalui dimensi kesedaran diri, pemprosesan seimbang, ketelusan hubungan dan perspektif moral dalaman yang tidak konsisten menunjukkan terdapat keperluan untuk kajian lanjut dijalankan bagi melihat hubungan dan sumbangannya terhadap pemindahan latihan guru. Begitu juga kemerosotan pemindahan latihan di tempat kerja berlaku apabila semakin jauh tempoh berlalu selepas mengikuti latihan semakin berkurang pengetahuan dan kemahiran digunakan pada pekerjaan. Kertas kajian konsep ini menggabungkan teori kepimpinan autentik, teori penetapan matlamat dan model pemindahan latihan Baldwin dan Ford (1988) digunakan bersama untuk membentuk satu model konseptual kajian amalan kepimpinan autentik dan hubungannya dengan pemindahan latihan. Melalui model konseptual ini akan memberikan hasil yang dapat menjelaskan hubungan kepimpinan autentik melalui dimensi kesedaran diri, pemprosesan seimbang, ketelusan hubungan dan perspektif moral dalaman terhadap pemindahan latihan dalam kalangan guru. Pengetua yang mengamalkan ketelusan dan kekuatan moral diri dalam membuat keputusan beretika terhadap sebarang tindakan akan membantu guru untuk lebih bertanggungjawab melaksanakan apa yang telah diterima dari latihan dipindahkan ke pekerjaan.
