KEMAMPUAN DIGITAL PELAJAR ALAM BINA
Abstract
Kemampuan digital adalah satu kemahiran yang mesti dikuasai oleh masyarakat terutamanya pelajar dalam bidang alam bina. Hal ini kerana dalam industri pembinaan, aplikasi digital merupakan perisian, sistem dan peralatan yang penting untuk diaplikasikan bagi memudahkan urusan perniagaan. Malah, kemahiran ini membantu pelajar dalam menjamin masa depan yang cerah ekoran permintaan terhadap kemahiran digital adalah tinggi. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tahap kecekapan digital dalam kalangan pelajar alam bina dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembezaan tahap tersebut. Berdasarkan kajian literatur yang komprehensif, terdapat 4 tahap dalam kecekapan digital, 5 komponen kecekapan digital dan 4 faktor yang mempengaruhi pembezaan tahap kecekapan digital. Seterusnya, 80 maklum balas telah berjaya dikumpul dalam kalangan pelajar tahun akhir di Pusat Pengajian Perumahan, Bangunan dan Perancangan, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan 4 tahap dalam kompetensi digital adalah asas, sederhana, lanjutan dan pengkhususan tinggi. Selain itu, kedudukan min menunjukkan bahawa responden mempunyai kemahiran digital yang baik tetapi pada tahap yang berbeza dari segi komponen digital di mana Keselamatan Digital menduduki tempat pertama (ke-1) diikuti oleh Penciptaan Kandungan Digital (ke-2), Maklumat Digital dan Literasi Data (ke-3), Penyelesaian Masalah Digital (ke-4) dan akhirnya Komunikasi dan Kerjasama Digital (ke-5). Manakala tiga faktor yang telah dipersetujui oleh responden ialah 1) Akses kepada Teknologi, 2) Peluang Pendidikan dan 3) Motivasi Individu. Bagaimanapun, faktor keempat iaitu Status Sosioekonomi (SES) merupakan faktor yang tidak meransang kerana responden bersetuju ia tidak memberi impak yang besar. Selain itu, dapatan ini dapat meningkatkan kesedaran dalam kalangan sektor pendidikan tentang kepentingan kemahiran digital dalam kalangan pelajar alam bina.
