KAJIAN KEBERKESANAN RAWATAN TERAPUNG PADA AIR KOLAM MENGGUNAKAN LIMNOCHARIS FLAVA
Abstract
Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menilai keberkesanan rawatan terapung untuk air kolam. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai keberkesanan pendekatan rawatan terapung, khususnya menggunakan Limnocharis flava, dalam meningkatkan kualiti air. Seterusnya, untuk mengkaji dan mengukur kadar penyingkiran bahan pencemar yang dipermudahkan oleh kaedah rawatan terapung, dengan memberi tumpuan kepada parameter seperti BOD, COD, TSS, TAN, pH, serta tahap makronutrien dan mikronutrien. Penilaian ini merangkumi lima parameter utama: Permintaan Oksigen Biokimia (BOD), Permintaan Oksigen Kimia (COD), Jumlah Nitrogen Ammonia (TAN), Jumlah Pepejal Terampai (TSS), dan pH, yang semuanya diukur mengikut piawaian Persatuan Kesihatan Awam Amerika (APHA). Ujian prestasi dijalankan pada selang 7 hari dalam tempoh 30 hari. Keputusan menunjukkan bahawa kepekatan BOD, COD, TAN, TSS, dan pH berkurangan dari semasa ke semasa. Menurut NWQS dan WQI, kolam tercemar sebelum rawatan dan bertambah baik selepas rawatan. Selain itu, menggunakan Spektrometri Pelepasan Optik Plasma Gandingan Induktif (ICP-OES) untuk menganalisis kandungan logam berat, sistem akar telah dicerna secara asid untuk mengesan unsur surih. Sampel air kolam mentah dan sampel air yang mengandungi Limnocharis flava telah dianalisis.
