Abstract

The abstract summarizes must be written in English in one paragraph not exceed 250 words. The major aspects of the entire paper in a prescribed sequence that includes: the background or the problem(s) statement of the study; the objective(s) of the study; the methodology or basic design of the study; major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis; and a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions as well as the implication of the study. At the end of the abstract must have add up to 5 keywords. All body text should be justified, except figures and tables and their captions, which are centred and one section. All the texts must be typed single-spaced in Times New Roman font and font size 12pt for the Latin script. The Arabic script written in Traditional Arabic font and font size 16pt.

1. Submitting Papers

We accept paper in three languages Malay (not Indonesia), English and Arabic. The manuscript should be submitted in electronic form at Al-Hikmah website: http://spaj.ukm.my/jalhikmah/index.php. Please use MS Word, and attach your Word file to your submission form.

2. General Guidelines

For reasons of uniformity, all papers prepared with MS Word should adhere to the format as defined by this template paper. This file should be considered as the "instructions to authors". Prepare your paper(s) by editing a copy of this file. Font size should be 12pt throughout the all text.

The paper format should be A4. Please use single line spacing. Insert a blank line before a new section heading and around figures and tables. Margins should be 2.5 cm all around. Please use centered Page Numbers at Bottom of Page, aligned to the center, show number on first page. These numbers are temporary. Do not refer to a Page Number in text.

3. Arabic script

The Arabic script should be in Traditional Arabic font, font size 16 points whole article. Quoting any Arabic sources either more than forty words or any al-Quran and al-Hadith in separate paragraph and be centered. Any al-Quran and al-Hadith phrases should be using with shakl.

4. Page Limits

The page limit for contributed papers is fifteen (15) pages.

5. Title and Authors

Title (12pt, upper case, bold), Authors (12pt, bold), Affiliations (12pt). The title should be in capital letter. Avoid forcing a line-break unless necessary. Author affiliations should consist of "Department, Institution (if applicable), City, State, Postcode, Country, telephone number, fax number and email address". However, if there is only one affiliation, please delete the superscript from your file.

6. Format for References

Include an in-text citation when you refer to, summarize, paraphrase, or quote from another source. For every in-text citation in your paper, there must be a corresponding entry in your reference list.

Al-Hikmah journal in-text citation style uses the author's name and the year of publication, for example: (Ahmad 2011). For direct quotation, include the page number as well, for example: (Ahmad 2011, p. 19). For sources, such as website and e-books that have no page numbers, use a paragraph number. For every reference used in the text must be mentioned in the reference list.

The references are listed as shown by the examples at the end of this paper. All references should be written in the Latin text include the Arabic manuscript.

7. Section Headings

All section headings should be bold in lower case with the first letter of major words in upper case with list numbering (e.g.: 1.0, 2.1, 3.2.1). Can't more than two others be following sub-section headings.

7.1 And Sub-Section Headings.

Section headings should be bold in lower case with the first letter of major words in upper case. Do not use sub-subsections more than exceptionally. Please check that headings are not on their own at the bottom of a page, at least two additional lines should follow. Take away an empty line at the top of a page, if this should appear.

7.2 List numbering.

List numbering except sections and sub-sections heading should be either a letter (e.g.: a. b.) or roman number (e.g.: ii. vi. x.) or dash bullet (-).

8. Figures and Tables

All Figures and Tables should appear in the text near to where they are first referenced. They should be centered between the margins, and must not fall outside of the normal printed area of the page which is 160 mm wide by 245 mm high. The font size for all numbers and letters in the figure, as it appears in your paper, must be at least as large as that for the running headings (which use 12 pt).

Put table captions up the table, and figure captions below the figure. Captions should be centered. Refer to figures and tables as in "Figure 1, Table 1".

Please take some care to ensure that the tables (or figures) do not appear out of sequence. Some rewriting may be required to produce the desired effect. Tables can be constructed using the Table commands provided by Word:

9. Abbreviations

When abbreviating words, use the full stop (period) to replace the missing characters, and not after an abbreviation where the last character is the original. Examples: "Dr" (not "Dr."), "Mr" (not "Mr."), "Vol." (not "Vol"), "No" (not "No.").

10. Conclusions

You should include a brief conclusion section which summarizes the results of your paper.

11. Conflicts of Interest

Declare conflicts of interest or state “The authors declare no conflict of interest.” Authors must identify and declare any personal circumstances or interest that may be perceived as inappropriately influencing the representation or interpretation of reported research results. Any role of the funders in the design of the study; in the collection, analyses or interpre130 tation of data; in the writing of the manuscript, or in the decision to publish the results must be declared in this section. If there is no role, please state “The funders had no role in the design of the study; in the collection, analyses, or interpretation of data; in the writing of the manuscript, or in the decision to publish the results”.

12. Author Contributions

For research articles with several authors, a short paragraph specifying their individual contributions must be provided. The following statements should be used “Conceptualization, X.X. and Y.Y.; methodology, X.X.; software, X.X.; validation, X.X., Y.Y. and Z.Z.; formal analysis, X.X.; investigation, X.X.; resources, X.X.; data curation, X.X.; writing—original draft preparation, X.X.; writing—review and editing, X.X.; visualization, X.X.; supervision, X.X.; project administration, X.X.; funding acquisition, Y.Y. All authors have read and agreed to the published version of the manuscript.”, please turn to the CRediT taxonomy for the term explanation. Authorship must be limited to those who have contributed substantially to the work reported.

13. Acknowledgements (Institute and/or source of funding)

Any acknowledgements should be immediately before the references. Please state "No" if no any acknowledgements.

14. References

The list of sources at the end of the paper (bibliography) is called the reference list. The reference list must include all references cited in the text of your paper. The APA style must be referred throughout the references. Note that the reference list has no subtitle or section. The below how to write the reference according to sources
