About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Jurnal Personalia Pelajar (also known as Malaysia Journal on Students' Advancement) is a refereed journal committed to the advancement of scholarly knowledge and research findings of the several branches of higher education student development. The journal publishes full research articles, review articles, technical reports, and brief communications whose content and approach interest a wide range of scholars.

Peer Review Process

A screening check for content will be carried out on every manuscript. The reviewer will review each article in 4 weeks after submitting the manuscript. Manuscripts submitted by members of the journal's Editorial Board are subjected to the same review process.

Each submission will undergo the following processes:

  • Scope, content and technical screening
  • Revision of manuscript by author/s
  • Editorial screening/decision

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange.

Journal History

Centre for Student Affairs (HEP-UKM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia has published a refereed journal entitled Jurnal Personalia Pelajar @ Malaysian Journal of Student Advancement, which is indexed in the Malaysian Citation Center (MyCite), Index Copernicus International and Google Scholar. This journal has been published since 1989 and focuses primarily on topics related to student advancement.
