Abstract

The charity is an Islamic financial instrument that has flexible features and is voluntary. Thus, the importance of adopting this practice at the early stage can produce generous future generations who are ready to help the people in need. Through literature review, several factors contributing to charitable practices among students were identified. This study applied the Fuzzy Delphi Method by collecting responses from 12 experts on three religious constructs containing 15 questionnaire items. The results of the expert consensus analysis meet the requirements of the triangular fuzzy number and defuzzication process. The study reached a very high level of expert consensus on the constructs of mastery of religious knowledge (92%), courtesy (100%) and parental religious Socialisation (99%). The results of the study can be used by educational institutions and individuals in considering the factors agreed by these experts to empower charitable practices among Muslim students.
