THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN THE FORMATION OF QUALITY FAMILIES ACCORDING TO ISLAM: THE CASE OF WORKING WOMEN IN PUTRAJAYA
Peranan Wanita dalam Pembentukan Keluarga Berkualiti Menurut Islam : Kes Wanita Berkerjaya di Putrajaya
Abstract
The increase in the number of women in employment in Malaysia whether in urban or rural areas towards developed countries has an impact on the stability of family institutions in producing quality human capital based on faith and piety to Allah s.w.t. The fact is, working women do good in the life of the family, society and country. However, as a result of changing times in the globalization era, women's progress in education and the country's need for women's energy to drive the country's socio-economic level such as developed countries have affected the role of women as mothers and wives in educating children and managing households perfect In relation to that, working women who do not balance between career and home leave an impact on the relationship between husband and wife, neglecting to fulfill their responsibilities to children leading to an increase in divorce, criminal cases and moral decay. This paper identifies the role of working women in the formation of a quality family according to Islam.
