A STUDY ON HUMAN DEVELOPMENT FROM THE ASPECT OF SELF-IDENTITY AMONG PATIENTS AT PYRA COSMIC THERAPY CENTER, SUBANG JAYA, SELANGOR
Kajian Pembangunan Insan dari Aspek Jati Diri Terhadap Pesakit di Pusat Terapi Pyra Cosmic, Subang, Jaya Selangor
Abstract
Nowadays, sometimes patients suffering from chronic diseases such as Diabetes and others are occasionally successfully treated when they try Alternative Treatment Methods. This study aims to examine the aspect of self-identity of patients and its relation to physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional elements and to analyze the factors that positively affect the healing of their diseases. This study uses the "Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP)" methodology from Thomas (2008) as a decision-making method. The study is based on interview data from 10 patient respondents. This research was conducted at the Pyra Cosmic Therapy Center, Subang Jaya. The results of this study found that when a person is ill, the physical element obtained 29.95 percent, the highest compared to other elements, while in terms of the patient's self-identity, the spiritual element obtained 28.78 percent, which is an important element in the healing process.
