Abstract
Book Review: Islam Embedded: The Historical Development of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party PAS (1951-2003) by Dr. Farish A Noor, published by the Malaysian Sociological Research Institute (MSRI) in 2004, reviewed by Associate Professor Dr. Kamarudin Salleh. The book is published in two large volumes, with a total page count of approximately 842 pages, including bibliographies and indexes, but excluding acknowledgments, the author's preface, images, maps, and party symbols, which together exceed 70 pages.
