Abstract

Students are the backbone of the country's leadership. Student human development is a pillar of the country's progress. However, in this cyber era, students are no exception to face challenges in facing various external influences that have a negative impact on themselves. Consequently, human development programs need to be developed and strengthened to preserve the quality of student personality. Usrah is one of the dakwah activities for students who have been established in the university for a long time. Usrah is a place to gain knowledge, guide, train and help members develop themselves into faithful, knowledgeable, and charitable people. Therefore, this study uses a qualitative study. Data were collected through library method using document analysis method. Findings show that the usrah approach helps to increase awareness and appreciation of religion as well as affect the human development of students in balancing worldly and ukhrawi demands. In addition, a model of da'wah through the usrah approach to the human development of students was built based on the findings of the study.
