EDUCATING FAMILY VALUES BASED ON ILAHIYYAH THOUGHT: EXPERTS CONSENSUS
Mendidik Nilai Kekeluargaan Berteraskan Pemikiran Ilahiyyah: Konsensus Pakar
Abstract
Values education of the family based on Ilahiyyah thought is one of the most frequently mentioned aspects in Islamic society. In fact, it is even worse if the education of the children in a family has no clear direction. Naturally, the values education of the family should be initiated by educating the mind and the way of thinking. Ilahiyyah (cognitive) thinking is an internal mental process based on the information received. This article aims to identify elements of values education based on the Ilahiyyah (cognitive) mind in family life. The selection of 9 experts is based on their expertise and experience in Islamic family, education, akhlak and values. The results of the study analysed using the Fuzzy Delphi technique. The findings of the study showed that all 12 elements of values education for the family based on the Ilahiyyah mind are accepted and this is because the data meet the criteria of threshold value less than 0.2 and the expert consensus percentage is higher than 75%. Whereas, the item that promotes the nature of helping with goodwill is one of the priorities in values education based on the Ilahiyyah (cognitive) mind and this attitude of tolerance is key to the formation of a family. The results of this study highlight several elements of values education based on Ilahiyyah that can serve as a guide in educating family members to attain Divine pleasure.
