PREPARATION FOR QUALITY TEACHER TRAINING OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION THROUGH THE CONCEPT OF 5 MIM IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMME IN SCHOOLS
Persediaan Kualiti Siswa Guru Pendidikan Islam Melalui Konsep 5 MIM dalam Program Pendidikan Inklusif di sekolah
Abstract
Education is one of the main manifestos to develop a country. A good education is education for all and covers all aspects required by each students according to the dissimilarities of students. Special education program has gained the support of the Ministry of education as stated in Malaysia Education Blue print (PPPM) 2013-2025. Students with special educational needs can choose one of three options for their education such as school of special education, Special education programme (PPKI) Integration and Inclusive education programme. Thus, this journal article is intended to respond to the recommendations in the PPPM through Wave 1 (2013-2015), in which the Ministry intends to establish special education as a core subject in the syllabus of the Institute of Teacher Education (IPG), to ensure that the resources teachers will be equipped with basic skills and awareness of the needs to cater students with special educational needs. This study will support the recommendations of the PPPM, by focusing on the aspects needed to be given priority by the prospective student teachers will be involved in Inclusive education programme, especially in the aspect to formulate quality teacher , which will be focusing on the concept of 5M (Mudarris, Muaddib, Murabbi, Mursyid And Muallim). The methodology used for this study is through library research. It is expected to become a guide to teacher training as prospective teachers of Islamic education, in particular who will be teaching for the inclusive education programme in schools under the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
