Abstract

The tendency of humans to seek "pleasure" and "happiness" is essentially a natural inclination present in every individual, regardless of whether they are Muslim or not. In today's context, the inclination of Muslims to seek and choose "pleasure" and "happiness" in life—consciously or unconsciously—often gets entangled in the current of "hedonistic" culture, which is associated with the attitude of seeking and choosing "pleasure" and "happiness" in life above all else. In reality, this "hedonistic" culture leaves a negative impact on human life, both on a micro scale (personal and family) and on a macro scale (society and nation). This is a task of da'wah that must be promptly anticipated or treated, albeit difficult, so that people are not influenced or can return to the path of truth. Therefore, the question to be answered in this writing is: how to carry out da'wah in facing the tendency of Muslims to follow the "hedonistic" lifestyle? As an answer to this question, the "integrated da'wah" model will be presented, which is; da'wah, both in concept and practice, is formed and managed by considering the principles of cooperation, combination, or integration of various elements of da'wah (da'wah performers, mad’u, objectives, messages, methods, and media of da'wah), where each element must be understood, prepared, and implemented in an integrated manner to become a strong Islamic da'wah system. All elements of da'wah; da’i, mad’u, message, objectives, methods, and media of da'wah, when built and actualized in an integrated manner, will have a positive implication on efforts to curb, anticipate, or reduce "hedonistic" culture among Muslims.
