DA'WAH TO NON-MUSLIMS IN MALAYSIA: CONCEPTS, APPROACHES AND CHALLENGES
Dakwah kepada Non-Muslim di Malaysia: Konsep, Pendekatan dan Cabaran
Abstract
Dakwah is an encouragement or a call to the path of God so that people accept and appreciate the teachings of Islam. This call and invitation for people to accept and live the teachings of Islam requires a clear understanding of the concept and demands of da'wah among daies (preachers). In addition to this aspect (the concept of da'wah), preachers also need to master the da'wah approach correctly and understand that in doing da'wah duties they will be faced with various challenges and obstacles. This article tries to look at the three aspects, namely the concept, approach and challenges of da'wah and the need to understand these three things, especially in the context of Islamic da'wah in Malaysia towards non-Muslims.
