Abstract

The current dakwah management in the Malaysian context is synonymous with the cultural diversity, background and socio-economic and socio-political position of Malaysia. Thus, in carrying out da'wah in this country, basically the manhaj of da'wah as presented in the Qur'an in surah al-Nahl, which is wisdom, good advice and an effective mujadalah approach is sufficient. However, this approach will appear more dynamic and alive if individuals or da'wah organizations are able to read the da'wah situation as well as the reality of the diversity of this country's society and translate it into the Malaysian da'wah realm. This article tries to look at and analyze da'wah based on a Malaysian approach by looking at aspects related to preachers (da'i), political determination (political will), human resource development, support sources and certain approaches that are relevant to the Malaysian da'wah climate. The analysis is based on the da'wah literature that is related to Islamic da'wah in Malaysia and also personal experience and observation. Based on the analysis of available sources and reality, it can be concluded that the approach of preaching the Qur'an based on verse 125 of surah al-Nahl is the basis of the Malaysian approach of preaching.
